Not only translations

When translating formal documents, it is important to stay as close to the source text as possible. Clients must be certain that the translation is an exact rendition of the original document. If the source text contains errors or inconsistencies, the translation will contain those as well.

If you need a manual, report or letter translated, however, it is a great asset if the translator is alert and corrects all obvious errors or inconsistencies. It would not be the first time that my translation is more purposeful and effective than the original document.

This is where my many years as a typist/secretary come in extremely useful. I have handled countless texts on a wide range of subjects. My vast experience has taught me that not everybody is a gifted writer and that many people are only too pleased to have a language expert improve on their style.
